SCOTTY McCREERY GAVE SURPRISE PERFORMANCE AT iHEART COUNTRY FESTIVAL
Triple Tigers recording artist Scotty McCreery gave a surprise performance at the iHeart Country Festival in Austin, TX on Saturday, May 5. McCreery and his two guitarists, Dylan Rosson and Jeffrey Harper, performed an acoustic version of his No. 1, Gold-certified hit “Five More Minutes” in front of a packed audience at the Frank Erwin Center. Almost from the first note, the audience sang the lyrics along with McCreery. At the conclusion, they rose and gave him a standing ovation. The performance became one of the most talked about moments of the entire event.
While backstage at the iHeart Country Festival, McCreery caught up with Cole Swindell. The two artists go way back, as Swindell wrote the song “Water Tower Town,” which McCreery recorded back in 2011 on his first album, Clear as Day.

“It’s been quite a journey these last few years, and to learn that Seasons Change has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart is awesome and so gratifying,” said McCreery. “I’m glad everyone is enjoying the new music.
