SCOTTY McCREERY PERFORMS LATEST SINGLE “YOU TIME” ON NBC’S “TODAY WITH HODA & JENNA”

This morning multi-platinum Triple Tigers recording artist Scotty McCreery appeared on NBC’s “TODAY with Hoda & Jenna,” to perform his latest single “You Time.” Along with the performance, McCreery delivered an incredible wedding surprise for two special fans. Check out McCreery’s performance of “You Time” HERE and the special wedding surprise HERE.

McCreery has been hard at work on the highly anticipated follow-up to RIAA Gold-Certified Seasons Change, with “You Time” as the lead single. Written by McCreery, Frank Rogers and Aaron Eshuis, and produced by Rogers, Eshuis and Derek Wells, the track has garnered more than 3 million streams since its release in September and is already climbing the charts, gaining an additional 26 adds from Country radio earlier this week. “You Time” is currently being played on more than 90 chart-reporting Country radio stations to date. Billboard notes, “the first single from his forthcoming album bodes well for his streak of three back-to-back No. 1’s to continue,” while MusicRow proclaims of McCreery, “as always, he’s a country beacon,” and of the track “upbeat and romantic, this has a lot going for it.”

“You Time” follows McCreery’s three back-to-back No. 1’s from Seasons Change: the RIAA Double-Platinum Certified “Five More Minutes,” RIAA Platinum-Certified “This Is It” and RIAA Gold-Certified “In Between.”

This week McCreery returns to the Grand Ole Opry stage. Tickets for the Saturday, Dec. 12, performance are available for purchase HERE. The Grand Ole Opry can also be seen via livestream on Circle television, Dish Network and Sling TV. Fans can also now find McCreery on TikTok; follow along @s_mccreery.

SCOTTY McCREERY KEEPS THE MUSIC PLAYING WITH SESSIONS LIVESTREAM

Performs Acoustic Concert Live on December 2 at 8 p.m. ET; Tickets Available Now

Currently at work on the follow-up to RIAA Gold-Certified Seasons Change and with new single “You Time” poised to debut soon on the charts, Triple Tigers recording artist Scotty McCreery is ready to entertain fans around the globe with the announcement of his exclusive Sessions livestream acoustic concert on Dec. 2 at 8 p.m. ET from Raleigh in his home state of North Carolina. Tickets for the intimate acoustic set are available for purchase HERE.

“I have missed doing live concerts, seeing the fans, and spending time with my band and crew during this crazy year, so this acoustic concert with Sessions is a great way to keep us connected,” said McCreery. “I’m excited to have my guitarists Jeff and Dylan join me for this event. The three of us have not done an acoustic livestream together this year, so this show will be unique and will feature my new song ‘You Time’ as well as the hits, some Christmas classics, and more.”

General admission for the livestream begins at $5, with After Party and You Time VIP packages available. The After Party package is limited to 450 fans and features a moderated Q&A with the opportunity to hear McCreery perform additional songs for $20, while the You Time VIP After Party package also includes a virtual meet and greet, where fans can briefly chat with McCreery and receive a screenshot of their time together, limited to 30 fans, and priced at $50.

Sessions is a new livestreaming platform, co-founded by former Pandora founder Tim Westergren and fellow entrepreneur and long-time developer of virtual games Gordon Su, which aims to increase an artists’ reach with promotion and marketing support rather than just providing a medium for delivering livestream content.

Earlier this year, McCreery was the first act to welcome the return of live concertgoers to the Ryman Auditorium, where he gave the debut performance of latest single “You Time” to both a national livestream pay-per-view audience as well as a sold-out limited in-venue audience of fans in the ‘LIVE AT THE RYMAN’ series. This was a full-circle moment as McCreery’s sold-out performance in March of this year marked the last show by a single artist act to take place prior to the Ryman’s temporary suspension of operations. Since that mid-March show, the multi-Platinum-selling artist has given more than 100 livestream performances as part of what he calls his Somewhere in Quarantine Tour, reaching tens of thousands of online viewers with each individual event.

Written by McCreery, Frank Rogers and Aaron Eshuis, and produced by Rogers, Eshuis and Derek Wells, “You Time” has garnered nearly 3 million streams since its release in September, with Billboard noting, “the first single from his forthcoming album bodes well for his streak of three back-to-back No. 1’s to continue,” while MusicRow proclaimed of McCreery, “as always, he’s a country beacon,” and of the track “upbeat and romantic, this has a lot going for it.”

Scotty McCreery Releases New Single "You Time" + Behind-the-Scenes Video

Triple Tigers multi-Platinum recording artist Scotty McCreery releases his new single “You Time” today, Sept. 23. The new track gives fans their first look at what to expect from his forthcoming album, the follow-up to his three consecutive No. 1 hits from his RIAA Gold-Certified Seasons Change. A release date for the new project will be announced soon. Listen to “You Time” HERE and watch the accompanying behind-the-scenes video HERE.

”I am so excited to have new music out,” said McCreery. “I wrote this with Frank and Aaron at a time when I was on the road more than I’d ever been before, and I’d get home just in time to see Gabi heading out to start her shift as a nurse. I was craving some ‘You Time’ with her and that inspired this song. Of course, now during the pandemic, we’re having a lot of ‘You Time’ which I love.”

Written by McCreery, Frank Rogers and Aaron Eshuis, and produced by Rogers, Eshuis and Derek Wells, MusicRow proclaimed of McCreery, “as always, he’s a country beacon,” and of “You Time,” “upbeat and romantic, this has a lot going for it,” while ABC News Radio called it “a playful ode” that Taste of Country observes has “a progressive beat with more bounce.”

As the first act to welcome the return of live concertgoers to the Ryman Auditorium, the multi-Platinum artist gave the debut performance of “You Time” on Sept. 4 to both a national livestream pay-per-view audience as well as a sold-out limited in-venue audience of 125 fans in the ‘LIVE AT THE RYMAN’ series. This was a full-circle moment as McCreery’s sold-out performance in March of this year marked the last show by a single artist act to take place prior to the Ryman’s temporary suspension of operations.

Prior to his performance at the Ryman, McCreery was surprised with a plaque commemorating “In Between” hitting RIAA Gold-Certified status on HLN’s “Morning Express.” “In Between” marked McCreery’s third consecutive No. 1 from Seasons Change and this weekend (Sept. 19-20) the song’s accompanying video hit No. 1 on CMT’s “Hot 20 Countdown.” The blockbuster track follows smash hits RIAA Double Platinum-Certified “Five More Minutes” and RIAA Platinum-Certified “This is It.”

The North Carolina native is currently hard at work on his follow up to Seasons Change, which Rolling Stone named as one of the “40 Best Country and Americana Albums of 2018” and Whiskey Riff named it as one of the “30 Top Albums of 2018.” Taste of Country said Seasons Change “showcased [McCreery’s] growth as a songwriter and storyteller and his understanding of how and when to share parts of his own story.”

Since mid-March, McCreery has already given nearly 100 live-stream performances ranging from Twitch Stream Aid, “Circle Sessions,” “Feed the Front Line Live, Presented by CMT” and numerous Facebook and Instagram Live events with country radio stations across the nation and media outlets, which he has dubbed his “Somewhere in Quarantine Tour.”
