Chart-topping Country music superstar, Scotty McCreery, has released Seasons Change: Platinum Edition, out now and available for a limited time on platinum-colored double vinyl exclusively through Amazon.com, and available on CD at ScottyMcCreery.com.
The career-changing original album, which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart in 2018, solidified McCreery as a bona fide hitmaker and featured his first three No. 1 hits including “Five More Minutes” (3x Platinum), “This Is It” (Platinum), and “In Between” (Gold). The album showcases masterful storytelling with McCreery co-writing each of the 11 tracks. Frank Rogers, Derek Wells, and Aaron Eshuis produced the original album.
The Seasons Change: Platinum Edition will include four additional tracks not featured on the album’s original – acoustic covers of the three No. 1 hits and the fan favorite track, “Still.” These four acoustic songs were recorded at the Cascade Theatre in Redding, CA, and produced by McCreery’s bass player and tour manager Nathan Thomas with McCreery’s band leader Jeffrey Harper and former lead guitarist Dylan Rosson both accompanying him on guitar and background vocals. The album also features a new cover and updated artwork throughout the project, as well as new liner notes and thank you remarks, as McCreery looks back on the last few years of his career since the original album was released.
“Seasons Change truly changed my life,” said McCreery. “It was the first project that really felt 100% me and where I was in life at that time. I’m a guy who loves to reminisce, and I’m thrilled to bring Seasons Change back in this special Platinum edition.”
The North Carolina native will give a solo acoustic performance of “Five More Minutes” on the “CMA Fest presented by SoFi” television special which airs on Thursday, June 26 at 8 pm ET (7 pm CT) on ABC, with streaming the following day on Hulu. The television special was taped earlier this month during the nightly concerts at Nissan Stadium during CMA Music Festival in Nashville.
McCreery recently provided fans with their “song of the summer” with his current radio single, “Bottle Rockets” featuring Hootie & The Blowfish. The infectious track was the No.1 most added upon impact at County Radio with 110 stations in its first week. It is currently No. 24 on Mediabase and No. 22 on Billboard Country Airplay Charts. The song was co-written by McCreery, Brent Anderson, Derek George, Jeremy Bussey, Monty Criswell, Frank Rogers, Bobby Hamrick, Darius Rucker, Mark Bryan, Dean Felber, and Jim Sonefeld, and produced by Rogers
Fans can see McCreery out on the road across the country this summer. He will headline the Country Night Gstaad Festival in Gstaad, Switzerland on September 12-13, and will be co-headlining the Two for the Road Tour with fellow Country star, Dustin Lynch. Scotty McCreery Celebrates Sold Out UK Shows
Scotty McCreery Soars Overseas with Sold Out Shows Throughout the UK
McCreery Lights Up Night One of CMA Music Festival at Nissan Stadium
Country music superstar Scotty McCreery recently took his unmistakable baritone overseas for sold out shows in London, Manchester and Glasgow. The multi-Platinum showman brought UK crowds to their feet at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town, the O2 Ritz Manchester, and Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom. McCreery also took the stage for his first time in Belfast at SSE Arena Belfast selling more than 3,000 tickets and nearly selling out his first ever show in Birmingham at O2 Institute.
“The UK audiences are amazing. They know the words to every song and sing along passionately,” said an excited McCreery. “We’ve been to the UK several times now, and each time we come we play a venue that is larger than the last trip and add additional cities. It’s gratifying to see the audiences growing every time we come. I can’t wait to come back again!”
UK radio has loved McCreery’s new song “Bottle Rockets” featuring Hootie & the Blowfish, which debuted at No. 22 on the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart on its first week of airplay. “Bottle Rockets” was named Record of the Week on Absolute Radio Country, BFBS Radio, CountryLine Radio, and Smooth Country. While in Manchester, McCreery did an interview backstage with Bob Harris for BBC Radio 2 about the song and the tour.
Here in the U.S., “Bottle Rockets” was the No.1 most added upon impact at County Radio with 110 stations in its first week. It is currently No. 29 on Mediabase and No. 26 on Billboard Country Airplay Charts.
Last week, McCreery kicked off CMA Music Festival at Nissan Stadium with a moving solo acoustic performance of his first No.1 hit, the triple-Platinum certified “Five More Minutes,” that had fans illuminating the stadium with their cell phones. He then harnessed the spirit of CMA Fest by honoring the King of Country, George Strait, with his No.1 hit, “Damn Strait.”
On June 20th, McCreery will release Seasons Change: Platinum Edition, an expanded version of his career-changing album, Seasons Change. Originally released in 2018, Seasons Change was McCreery’s fourth album to debut at No. 1 on a Billboard Album Chart and demonstrated his masterful songwriting – co-writing each of the 11 album tracks including his first three No.1 hits: “Five More Minutes” (3x Platinum), “This Is It” (Platinum), and “In Between” (Gold). The new Seasons Change: Platinum Edition will feature four additional tracks not on the original album: acoustic versions of the album’s three No.1 singles plus fan favorite “Still.” The album also features a new cover and updated artwork throughout the project, as well as new liner notes and thank you remarks, as McCreery looks back on the last few years of his career since the original album was released. It will be available for a limited time on platinum-colored double vinyl exclusively through Amazon.com, and also available on CD at ScottyMcCreery.com.
McCreery and his wife Gabi recently announced they are expecting their second child later this year.
Fans can see McCreery out on the road across the country this summer. He will headline the Country Night Gstaad Festival in Gstaad, Switzerland on September 12-13, and will be co-headlining the Two for the Road Tour with fellow Country star, Dustin Lynch. The Two for the Road Tour kicks-off this November and tickets are on-sale now.

SCOTTY MCCREERY JUNE FAN OF THE MONTH
Congratulations to the Scotty McCreery Fan of the Month for June 2025, Michelle H! Learn more about Michelle below!
Where are you from?: Farmington, MO
How many years have you been a fan?: 14 years - I became a fan the night I saw him audition on American Idol.
How many years have you been a fan club member? About 10 years
What is your favorite Scotty song? Five More Minutes
What is your favorite Scotty album? Seasons Change
How many times have you seen Scotty live? What was your first show? What was your favorite show? I’ve seen Scotty perform live 29 times. My first show was 11/16/14 at The Pageant in St. Louis, MO. My favorite show was 9/23/22 at Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, TX. The history of the venue with George Strait and the fact that Scotty filmed his “Damn Strait” video there made it an incredible show.
What’s one thing that sets you apart from other Scotty fans? One thing that sets me apart from other Scotty fans is that I have seen Scotty perform live 29 times in 6 states - Missouri, Tennessee, Illinois, Oklahoma, Texas and North Carolina - with my daughter, Breanna, who I consider a super fan. I make posters for Breanna to take to most of Scotty’s shows and then use to decorate her room with. I’ve had 15 meet & greets with Scotty, attended 3 fan club parties - 2016, 2017 & 2018, hung out on the bus 1 time after buying Breanna a guitar at the merchandise table on 11/12/17, and visited his hometown of Garner, NC on 11/15/24 after seeing him perform in Charlotte, NC on 11/14/24. While in Garner, Breanna and I ate lunch at Bojangles, visited Garner High School for a picture of her in front of the school, shopped at Lowe’s Foods where he worked while in high school and we went “cruising by them Carolina pines, taking it slow, doing 35 down Timber Drive” just like Scotty sings about in “Home In My Mind”.
How Hootie & the Blowfish’s Classic ‘Hold My Hand’ Came to Be on Scotty McCreery’s ‘Bottle Rockets’: ‘It Fit Like a Glove’

McCreery and the band's Jim Sonefeld share the behind-the-scenes story.
Sometimes, a serendipitous moment happens while writing a song that in hindsight seems like it was just meant to be.
Such is the case was with Scotty McCreery’s new single “Bottle Rockets,” which features Hootie & the Blowfish revisiting their breakthrough hit, 1994’s “Hold My Hand.”
McCreery was with songwriting buddies and producer Frank Rogers at his cabin in the North Carolina mountains for a writing retreat. There were six inches of snow on the ground when thoughts turned to warmer times and the soundtracks to their memories of summers past.
“I had mentioned how much I loved Hootie & the Blowfish, and Frank being from South Carolina and a frequent collaborator with Darius [Rucker] knew exactly what to do with that,” McCreery says. “We started strumming the tune that would eventually become ‘Bottle Rockets,’ and at the end of the makeshift chorus we had at that point, Frank went into ‘Hold My Hand.’ It fit like a glove. Everyone was laughing and high-fiving because we knew we were on to something. The song really just spilled out from there.”
Scotty McCreery’s “Bottle Rockets” Featuring Hootie & the Blowfish Most Added at Country Radio - 110 Station Adds
Scotty McCreery has the Most Added Song at Country radio this week with his latest release, “Bottle Rockets,” featuring the 2-time GRAMMY-winning Hootie & the Blowfish. The breezy new single garnered 110 radio adds at Country radio upon release – marking McCreery’s second single to achieve the honor following 2024’s “Cab in a Solo.”
“I am thrilled and thankful to country radio for making ‘Bottle Rockets’ the Most Added Song this week,” said McCreery. “It’s a dream come true to sing with Hootie and the Blowfish. They are royalty in the Carolinas where I grew up and ‘Hold My Hand’ has been one of my favorite summer songs since I first heard it as a kid. What a way to start the week before I travel to the UK!”
“It’s quite a thrill to have a cherished, old song of ours take flight again,” shares Hootie’s Jim Sonefeld. “Even more special to have a Carolina guy like Scotty reshaping it in such a beautiful way.”
Hootie & the Blowfish re-recorded “Hold My Hand” this spring just for McCreery’s “Bottle Rockets.” (The original version of “Hold My Hand” is on their RIAA 22x-Platinum Cracked Rear View). The track was co-written by McCreery, Brent Anderson, Derek George, Jeremy Bussey, Monty Criswell, Frank Rogers, Bobby Hamrick, Darius Rucker, Mark Bryan, Dean Felber, and Jim Sonefeld, and produced by Rogers.
