Triple Tigers recording artist Scotty McCreery is never one to shy away from getting personal in his music, whether mourning the loss of his grandfather with the triple-platinum blockbuster “Five More Minutes” or capturing the anticipation of proposing to your long-time love with platinum hit “This is It.” McCreery is getting personal again with the release of his latest track, “Love Like This.” Listen to “Love Like This” HERE and watch the lyric video HERE.
“Becoming a father is the greatest thing that’s happened to me,” shares McCreery. “Raising Avery as he grows and watching my wife Gabi be a rock star as his Mom has been the joy of my life these last 15 months. I knew I wanted to write a song about Avery. I even photographed the room number on the hospital door so I could put that into the lyrics.”
Written by McCreery, Frank Rogers and Aaron Eshuis and produced by Rogers, Derek Wells, and Eshuis, the ode to McCreery’s son Avery captures the boundless and indescribable love a new parent feels for their child.
When I first laid eyes on you, that’s when I knew
I’ve never known a love like this, I’ve never felt this way
Girl, I think I might have thought I did
But everything changed today
‘Cause I’m looking at you, looking at him
And I don’t have a clue what this feeling is
But watching you give our baby boy a kiss
Now I know I’ve never known a love like this, no

SCOTTY McCREERY RELEASES NEW SONG TODAY, “CAN’T PASS THE BAR”
Triple Tigers recording artist Scotty McCreery is kicking off 2024 by giving fans new music, as his boisterous track “Can’t Pass the Bar” is available today. Listen to “Can’t Pass the Bar” HERE and watch the lyric video HERE.
“I grew up loving ‘90s country music, especially the barn burning songs. I wanted one of my own, so I got together with some of my buddies and we wrote it,” said McCreery. “Can’t wait to perform this song live on the Cab in a Solo Tour.”
Written by McCreery, Brent Anderson, Cale Dodds, and Frank Rogers and produced by Rogers, Derek Wells, and Aaron Eshuis, the rollicking ode to the working man finds McCreery celebrating a long week with a trip to the bar with his buddies.
When the long week’s paychecks are cashed
Where we gonna spend it, buddy you ain’t gotta ask
When the neon lights are kicking on, all of us are heading
To a home away from home
We don’t look like much but we’re pretty damn smart
For some good ole boys that can’t pass the bar
