ACM Award winner Scotty McCreery played a limited capacity show at Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth on January 23rd. $1 of every ticket sold went to ACM Lifting Lives®, the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music that is dedicated to improving lives through the power of music with health programs and hardship services.

With the help of McCreery and his fans, $2,100 was donated. Billy Bob’s Texas has partnered with ACM Lifting Lives® twice since 2017, working with Kane Brown and Midland to raise money for the cause.

“We were thrilled at the opportunity to work with Scotty McCreery and partner with such an incredible and important organization again,” says Billy Bob’s Texas General Manager, Marty Travis.

“I love having an opportunity to help a great cause like ACM Lifting Lives, and doing it while performing at a legendary venue like Billy Bob’s Texas is an added bonus,” said McCreery.

“We are immensely grateful to both Scotty McCreery and Billy Bob’s Texas for their generous contributions to ACM Lifting Lives,” said Lyndsay Cruz, ACM Lifting Lives Executive Director. “Billy Bob’s has been a great partner in the past, and it was an honor to have their continued support during Saturday’s show. We look forward to using the donation to continue to support those in need in the Country Music community.”

Before the show, Billy Bob’s Texas presented McCreery with an oversized check showcasing the donation.

Triple Tigers recording artist Scotty McCreery presented a plaque commemorating the RIAA-certified Double Platinum sales of his first No.1 hit “Five More Minutes” to the Grand Ole Opry backstage this past Saturday, December 12, 2020 prior to his performance. The Opry was represented by Dan Rogers, Grand Ole Opry Vice President and Executive Producer, and Gina Keltner, Director of Opry Talent Scheduling and Logistics. “Five More Minutes” was written by McCreery, Frank Rogers (who also produced the song), and Monty Criswell. It was the first single from his Gold-certified album Seasons Change. “Five More Minutes” was certified Double Platinum in January 2020, but due to the pandemic McCreery had not had an opportunity to return to the Opry until this past weekend.

“I debuted ‘Five More Minutes’ nationally on the Grand Ole Opry back in June 2016,” said McCreery. “I wasn’t on a record label at the time, but I believed in this song and wanted to share it.  A few weeks later, I saw that I was trending on social media and wondered ‘what did I do?’  I learned quickly that the Opry had released a video of that performance on their YouTube Channel and it was attracting thousands of viewers by the hour. The Opry played a major role in the success of that song, and I will always be thankful to them for that.”

Sadly, country music legend Charley Pride passed away on Saturday as well, and Scotty dedicated his performance of “Five More Minutes” to him at the Grand Ole Opry that night.

“We lost a great entertainer and an even greater man,” said McCreery. “That night in June 2016 when I debuted ‘Five More Minutes,’ I had just hung out with Charley and Bill Anderson backstage where we talked baseball.  Charley was always kind to me. Whenever we saw each other, we’d talk baseball, music, and more, and he treated me like he had known me forever. Country Music lost a giant this weekend.”

This morning multi-platinum Triple Tigers recording artist Scotty McCreery appeared on NBC’s “TODAY with Hoda & Jenna,” to perform his latest single “You Time.” Along with the performance, McCreery delivered an incredible wedding surprise for two special fans. Check out McCreery’s performance of “You Time” HERE and the special wedding surprise HERE.

McCreery has been hard at work on the highly anticipated follow-up to RIAA Gold-Certified Seasons Change, with “You Time” as the lead single. Written by McCreery, Frank Rogers and Aaron Eshuis, and produced by Rogers, Eshuis and Derek Wells, the track has garnered more than 3 million streams since its release in September and is already climbing the charts, gaining an additional 26 adds from Country radio earlier this week. “You Time” is currently being played on more than 90 chart-reporting Country radio stations to date. Billboard notes, “the first single from his forthcoming album bodes well for his streak of three back-to-back No. 1’s to continue,” while MusicRow proclaims of McCreery, “as always, he’s a country beacon,” and of the track “upbeat and romantic, this has a lot going for it.”

“You Time” follows McCreery’s three back-to-back No. 1’s from Seasons Change: the RIAA Double-Platinum Certified “Five More Minutes,” RIAA Platinum-Certified “This Is It” and RIAA Gold-Certified “In Between.”

This week McCreery returns to the Grand Ole Opry stage. Tickets for the Saturday, Dec. 12, performance are available for purchase HERE. The Grand Ole Opry can also be seen via livestream on Circle television, Dish Network and Sling TV. Fans can also now find McCreery on TikTok; follow along @s_mccreery.

Performs Acoustic Concert Live on December 2 at 8 p.m. ET; Tickets Available Now

Currently at work on the follow-up to RIAA Gold-Certified Seasons Change and with new single “You Time” poised to debut soon on the charts, Triple Tigers recording artist Scotty McCreery is ready to entertain fans around the globe with the announcement of his exclusive Sessions livestream acoustic concert on Dec. 2 at 8 p.m. ET from Raleigh in his home state of North Carolina. Tickets for the intimate acoustic set are available for purchase HERE.

“I have missed doing live concerts, seeing the fans, and spending time with my band and crew during this crazy year, so this acoustic concert with Sessions is a great way to keep us connected,” said McCreery. “I’m excited to have my guitarists Jeff and Dylan join me for this event. The three of us have not done an acoustic livestream together this year, so this show will be unique and will feature my new song ‘You Time’ as well as the hits, some Christmas classics, and more.”

General admission for the livestream begins at $5, with After Party and You Time VIP packages available. The After Party package is limited to 450 fans and features a moderated Q&A with the opportunity to hear McCreery perform additional songs for $20, while the You Time VIP After Party package also includes a virtual meet and greet, where fans can briefly chat with McCreery and receive a screenshot of their time together, limited to 30 fans, and priced at $50.

Sessions is a new livestreaming platform, co-founded by former Pandora founder Tim Westergren and fellow entrepreneur and long-time developer of virtual games Gordon Su, which aims to increase an artists’ reach with promotion and marketing support rather than just providing a medium for delivering livestream content.

Earlier this year, McCreery was the first act to welcome the return of live concertgoers to the Ryman Auditorium, where he gave the debut performance of latest single “You Time” to both a national livestream pay-per-view audience as well as a sold-out limited in-venue audience of fans in the ‘LIVE AT THE RYMAN’ series. This was a full-circle moment as McCreery’s sold-out performance in March of this year marked the last show by a single artist act to take place prior to the Ryman’s temporary suspension of operations. Since that mid-March show, the multi-Platinum-selling artist has given more than 100 livestream performances as part of what he calls his Somewhere in Quarantine Tour, reaching tens of thousands of online viewers with each individual event.

Written by McCreery, Frank Rogers and Aaron Eshuis, and produced by Rogers, Eshuis and Derek Wells, “You Time” has garnered nearly 3 million streams since its release in September, with Billboard noting, “the first single from his forthcoming album bodes well for his streak of three back-to-back No. 1’s to continue,” while MusicRow proclaimed of McCreery, “as always, he’s a country beacon,” and of the track “upbeat and romantic, this has a lot going for it.”
